Women Get the Business Edge: Capacity Building for Women-Owned SMEs
The Gender Entrepreneurship Market analysis, conducted in 2005 in several countries, showed that women identified a lack of access to management training as a key obstacle in their ability to grow and professionalize their businesses. To meet the demand for women entrepreneur-specific management training, the Women Get the Business Edge initiative was launched. Currently operating in Yemen, the project builds the capacity of Business Edge training partners to serve women’s market segments on a sustainable basis.
