Hans A. Wuttke was appointed IFC's Executive Vice President on January 1, 1981.

Prior to joining IFC, Mr. Wuttke, a German banker, had a distinguished career in the private sector. He was a partner in M.M. Warburg-Brinckmann, Wirtz and Co. and was executive director of S.G. Warburg and Co. Ltd., managing director of Dresdner Bank, and chairman of Deutsch-Sued-Amerikanische Bank, and as well as chairman of the East Asia Association.

He was a member of the board of several European companies, including the German Development Co.

Mr. Wuttke died in February 2000.
